I last uploaded a talkative Coffee Talk post back in August and since there have been a few changes since then, I thought I would write another one to update all of you.

If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I officially have a full-time job. Throughout University, I worked as a Clinical Receptionist on a Sunday but now that I have graduated, I decided to apply for a full-time position in one of the City Clinics and I got the job!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I am moving out of my parent’s house and into a one bedroom flat with my boyfriend. Now that I have a full-time job where I will be commuting every day, it was important for me to live near a mainline station and since my boyfriend and I have been practically living together the past four months, I thought it was time to make it official. Let me know down below if you would like to see a flat tour.
If we were having coffee… I would ask your advice. Every since I graduated from University, I have been battling Imposter Syndrome. I do not feel ready to become a Physiotherapist and work with the general public in the medical field and despite having time off from University, the feeling has not eased. I would appreciate any advice anyone has.
If we were having coffee… I would let you know that I am currently working on a few different series for my blog, hopefully being uploaded later this year. If you would like to be featured or would like to collaborate, please do get in contact with me as I would love to work with you.
If we were having coffee… I would ask about your plans for the next few months. Most of you are probably returning to school, college or University after the winter holidays whilst others are still working full-time but hopefully you all enjoyed Christmas and New Year’s.
Ahhh this is all so amazing! Congrats on your full time job and on moving out! So exciting. I’d love to do one of these posts but I feel like I’d never have anything to say! x

Thank you! I have been fortunate in that there have been several changes in my life recently but I know some people do them biweekly and I am so confused about how they have that much to talk about?! xx

Thank you! The deposit is always the hardest part of moving out but luckily we both got our deposits back from our previous place in time for this deposit. xx

Obviously we want a flat tour!!! My advice would probably be try not to worry about the imposter syndrome, enjoy your current job for now but stay involved in physio so you feel part of it, you’ll get there 💗

Congrats on the new job!! As for advice I’m sure you have worked incredibly hard at university to be where you are now. It is difficult working in that hospital setting with the public for the first time be so rewarding! You will smash it! Also as me and my partner are also looking to move out soon I’m in loved with property searching at the moment so yes!!! Flat tour! 💕💕

Thank you! I do genuinely love working with the public but I know sometimes they can be so critical which can be overwhelming if you are new to the job. Talking to other coursemates, it sounds like everyone in the team is really supportive though.
Good luck! I loved touring flats and imagining how I would organize all of my stuff if I were to live there.

I 100% get the imposter syndrome thing and am so glad it now has a name! – I am forever not feeling someone who had a degree and a masters and I don’t feel like I am what I am labelled – I find it super hard to put into words and don’t really know how to deal with it!

Me too! I think it affects so many people in different ways and it’s so reassuring to know other people feel it too x

Loved this post! 😍 If we were having coffee I would tell you that it’s okay to be scared after graduating, maybe you can try some small jobs as a physiotherapist, practice it more and then you’ll feel more comfortable! If you’ve graduated, it means that they thought you have the ability to do an amazing job so no worries 😉
And I’d live to see a flat tour!
