My Favourite Skincare Products

I’m quite lucky in the respect that I’ve never had many issues with my skin. Sure I’ve had the odd breakout but I’ve never suffered from severe acne or had to seek professional help with regards to my skin.

However, I have always taken good care of my skin. I always use foundation or BB creams with SPF to protect my skin from the sun’s harmful rays and I try to eat a balanced diet to ensure I am getting all the nutrients my skin needs. I also use a few skincare products to help keep my skin clean and prevent breakouts.

Garnier 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water

If you do not know about this product, you probably live under a rock! I have lost count of the number of people that swear by this product. It has three purposes – to cleanse, remove make-up and soothe your skin. I use it every evening to remove my make-up and sometimes in the morning to ensure that I have removed all my make-up from the previous day. It is designed for sensitive skin but can be used by all skin types.

Simple Facial Toner

Toners help to restore the skin’s natural pH to avoid excessive oil production. It removes excess oil and traces of dirt and grime and can help to close pores to prevent penetration of impurities. I normally use it in the morning before I do my make-up but it can be used morning and night.

Simple Oil Balancing Facial Scrub

This product acts as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, dirt and impurities. It can also absorb excess oil and control shine. I normally use this before I go to bed to ensure my face is clean.

E45 Moisturising Body Lotion (not pictured)

This product is used to moisturise dry skin. Although it is designed for sensitive skin, it can be used by anyone. It is also non-perfumed which I love because it means I can apply it when I need it without worrying about its smell conflicting with my perfume. I’ve actually ran out I love it so much, which is why it is not pictured.

Simple Deep Cleansing Facial Mask

I use this mask once a week to cleanse my skin by drawing out deep dirt and elimating dead skin cells. I find it serves the same purpose as the facial scrub so probably would not repurchase.

I hope this was useful. Comment below any skincare products that you swear by that I should try!
