Hi everyone. Happy Holidays!
I broke up for summer only a week ago so it is insane to me that some of you are already preparing to go back to school and #backtoschool is a trending topic on YouTube!
The day after I broke up from University I actually got on a flight to Italy. We started in Rome and are currently in Florence as I am writing this, on a rooftop terrace overlooking the city to be exact. It’s too hot for my British self to handle but I am loving the beautiful architecture and the history of the city.
Naturally, as the city is so beautiful and I am on holiday, I am taking lots of photos and it got me thinking about Photography. I love Photography and the ability we have of capturing a moment. More specifically, it got me thinking about different mediums of photography and the different devices one can take a photograph with. I tend to use my iPhone on a day-to-day basis and then my Fujifilm Finepix S6800 for special occasions, and prefer digital over film, mostly because of the price and amount of time needed to process the photograph. I am loving my Polaroid camera but the film costs an arm and a leg!!! My Granddad also gave me an old film camera which I still need to find a purpose for – it is just me that doesn’t like to waste photographs so needs special occasions during which to use my film cameras? BFF, this is where you step up and suggest an awesome place at which to take photographs!
What about you guys? I’m interested to know what mediums you prefer and what device you use? Perhaps you can persuade me to change my ways!
Sounds like you’re on quite an adventure! I love love love travel photography so please post photos when you can! I recently got an instax camera haha which is probably the closest to actual film as I’ll ever get…and then I got a Polaroid printer which I use now to print digital images hehe kind of cheating but has the same beautiful Polaroid look and effect. Otherwise I’ve been using my canon t5i for a while and bought a few travel lenses.

Ofc! I have so many pictures it’s gonna be a spam!! They are mostly on my camera so I have to wait till I get home to upload them but they are coming. Haha but at least you know the photos are going to come out well – sometimes the polaroids develop and are either too dark or too light. Thanks for taking the time to comment 🙂

Hi 🙂
I hope you don’t mind me reaching out in a comment — I couldn’t find a way to contact you privately (you can always delete this comment…)
I noticed that your Gravatar doesn’t link to your blog. This makes it more difficult for others to find you. Please take a look at my blog post linked below, which explains the easy steps you can take to fix this 🙂

Hi. No worries at all – there should be an email address in the contact page but to be honest I’m fairly new to blogging so I’m still trying to figure everything out. Thank you for letting me know – I will look to correct this later. 🙂

I couldn’t find your ‘contact’ page 😦 You may want to use a contact form rather than publicising your email address, as doing that might lay you open to unwanted spam emails.
